Manna Ministries received a $20,000 grant from United Way of South Mississippi and Gulf Coast Community Foundation. In partnership with local churches in Pearl River County, we are reaching the elderly and/or those with compromised immune systems who need to self-isolate during this time to assist them with food.
Based on state and national recommendations regarding the COVID-19, Manna Ministries began on March 1st to reassess our programs. Assuring patients of our free primary care medical clinic had access to care and their prescribed medications was priority.
InMay of 2019, Poplarville and surrounding areas had to deal with significant flooding due to an above average rainfall for the season. About 50 homes received flood water. AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation “Connections for Cardiovascular Health" has awarded Manna Ministries Inc. $179,570 in support of their “MOVE” program.
Picayune, Miss-The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation has the Manna Ministries Inc. grinning from ear to ear: a $15,000 contribution will be used to purchase new dental equipment and supplies.
